Brent Vanderwoude, BID
Brent is always exploring ideas to help improve the lives of others. Early on, this took the form of tinkering and small building projects — Today, it is through reading, investing, design, and podcasting.
At 15, Brent’s first (real) job was cleaning up behind trades on the job site. Working for a home builder, he witnessed hundreds of homes go from site servicing to final move-in and learned everything in between. He used this gig to pay his way through four years of college.
Brent began his career as an industrial designer. His leadership and ideas have contributed to the success of numerous products and event experiences. But it was his passion for ideas with long-term impact that brought him to real estate investing. In 2014, he bought his first investment property and never looked back, learning many valuable lessons from mistakes made along the way.
Brent’s unique blend of construction and design expertise, coupled with his long-term visionary thinking and dedication to serving others, found a perfect match in real estate. In 2020, Brent established Good Stewards, a company committed to helping families and seasoned investors steward their wealth through real estate investments.
Brent is not one to shy away from a challenge, whether it's through relentless learning, conquering long-distance runs, or pushing his limits with endeavors like 75HARD. He thrives on making things function seamlessly from behind the scenes, all while staying grounded in Christian stewardship principles to enhance the lives of others through his work.
Brent is a licensed REALTOR® and has completed courses in Austrian Economics.
